Join us for a radical evening of adventurous storytelling.

The cityscape creates the soundtrack, and the audience forms the stage as we take to the streets in this one of a kind storytelling tour of urban gardens and public spaces in San Francisco. Some are secret. Some are not.

The theme of the evening is WILD....expect to hear fairy tales about polyamory, myths about dreams of carnal desires granted by primal beings in the forest, stories about traveling to the Amazon as a rights of passage...songs...and more! There will be truth! There will be fiction!

Things You Want To Know About This Event:

The Critics Are Raving

"In Living Landscapes allowed me to rediscover some of my favorite parts of San Francisco.  Places I'd been dozens of times before revealed themselves anew through story and song.  It was a journey filled with fascinating new friends, sweet sensations, and lots of laughter."

~ Jill Adams

"In Living Landscapes was one of the most wonderful nights out I have ever had in the bay area. Performance art meets breathtaking nature meets urban treasure hunt... and along the way, not only did we have the joy of experiencing beautiful storytelling and music, but a community was formed for the evening, creating a magical feeling of friendship and camaraderie. By the night's end, I was delirious with  beauty, and alive with the sudden intimacy of shared experiences..." ~Rachael Knight

"Living Landscapes transported me to another San Francisco, a city caught in time with beauty, history and poetry that I overlooked a thousands times walking down the street. Sometimes it takes facilitators, storytellers, musicians and poets to show you what you didn't know that you didn't know, about this place we call home. Thank you Living Landscapes for unveiling San Francisco to me." ~Lavana Saxon

"I had the great pleasure of being a storyteller in the inaugural ride of Living Landscapes.  I had no idea what to expect, and thus was blown away by the warm reception of the audience, the quality of the storytellers, and the power of story telling.  We traipsed around San Francisco in a big ol' bus like a band of literary Merry Pranksters, strangers to each other at first but fast friends by the end, sharing anecdotes, passing flasks, and exchanging e-mail addresses in between destinations.  I had no idea what to expect, but now you do: an unforgettable evening of big hearts, warm stories, and the chance to see our lovely city again for the very first time."
